Screw it, final goodbyes

So I’ve changed my mind again. What a suprise that is. I know I said I would do three posts these last two months, but honestly, I don’t want too. So here is everything I need to say.

First of, my goals. Completely smashed them! I feel so ill now though but I did it!! I kind of went overboard, stressed myself out, pushed myself too hard and made my head a little crazy to be in, but I’m back on the other side now. Just recovering from an awful chest infection cold type thing.

I created this blog in March 2015, and I can tell you, I have loved every second of it. Through all of my ups and many downs I have shared on here, I have made some incredible life long internet friends. Some, I want to meet in real life and spoil the hell out of them!

This blog has been my little safe haven. My place where I have been able to grow and never be put down for expressing myself. Each and every one of you mean so much to me in very different ways. Some of you were my very first supporters, some of you are the ones who are bold enough to give me constructive feedback, without wanting to hurt my feelings. Some of you are my little cheerleaders, always pushing me forward, always there to motivate me when I need a kick up the ass and the ones I can cry too if I need too. And all of you, yes all 600+ of you are my family. Without you, this new beginging wouldn’t be possible.

I have had so many amazing opportunities while running this blog, I mean I worked with Clinique for god sake! Never in my life would I have thought that was possible! I have worked with other amazing brands such as propercorn ( who I am still totally obsessed with! Lightly sea salted all the way!!), Toddlebike2 (who have made my cousins playtime so much better!), Malki Dead sea minerals (the one company who has made my skin amazing!) Saint London, (who have georgeous watches ((use my discount code IMAGALAXYGIRLBLOG for 20% off!) And many more.

I’m not going to lie, writing and uploading everyday, sometimes more than once was a struggle, I did rush some content but others on here are my pride and joy. This blog has over 30k views and that is insane!

I have literally grown up infront of your eyes, I’ve gone from a shy little girl who was afraid of the world, to a girl who has opened herself up to the galaxy and has finally accepted who she is. (Hence why I have stuck with the galaxygirl name).

I do love and appreciate every one of you, because lets face it, without you, I would still be that shy girl who is too afraid to stand up for what she believes in.

This new blog and YouTube is going to the best new journey I can take. I have already had my fair share of cries and tantrams over them both, so you know that they are going to be good. If you want to join the team, be a part of the new journey I am taking, then click here to subscribe to my brand new YouTube channel, here to follow my new blog, here to follow my Twitter (leaving hints every day up until the release date!) and here to check out my Instagram. That’s all the links you need right now.

Thank you for the best years of my life, thank you for the valuable lessons you have all taught me and thank you for being such amazing, supportive friends. Love to every one of you, I wish you all the luck for the future. Dream big and reach for those stars because you will soon reach them!

Love you all!

November goals

How are you? I need to address something before I carry on with my post. A few of you have noticed a name change on my social media. You are very observant. I have created a new blog. Yes, you read that right. It would be amazing if you could all head over and follow me. That new blog will have it’s first ever post on January 1st 2018! Natalie had messaged me some words of widsom and she was right, I shouldn’t delete everything, because I did work my arse off on my content. So, instead of deleting everything, I am keeping this blog. It just wont be used anymore. My new blog is please head over and follow me. Share this on your Twitter and Instagram too! Help me reach at least 200 followers before I begin.

Okay, so now that that is done, I want to share with you my November goals.

  • Go to bed before 3am – I have been going to sleep around 3am and then not waking up till gone 12! That’s really not healthy, so my aim to sleep at a normal time.
  • Wake up before 12pm – Obviously! Hopefully I can get my body into the routine of waking up at 8am.
  • Lose some weight – I have been doing so well at this, then after my little wobble, I gained 2 pounds. Now, that isn’t much at all, but I need to loose it and some more too.
  • Get a minimum of 200 followers on my new blog – This blog has over 600 followers and every single one of you are amazing! But I know that realistically, not everyone will follow my new blog. But I am hoping that 200 out of 600+ still want to follow my journey.
  • Do more photography – I’m not sure when I neglected it, but I want to go out and get some new shots. I love uploading them to my photography Instagram page.

Well, that is it. Those are my goals! I will update you on these at the end of the month. Again, here is the link to my new blog I hope to see you all over there!

Lots of love and I will see you soon.

10 things I would say to my younger self

How are you? Did you enjoy my nail inspiration post? If you haven’t read it yet, read this then go check it out. It was uploaded half an hour ago. This post is in thanks to Nimra so check out her blog. I put on my Instagram story asking for any post requests and she came back with two amazing posts. The other one will be uploaded soon.

I have been thinking about this for a while now, so I am glad I am now doing a post on it. I have decided to break this into two parts. One part being a child and the other part  being a teen. So technically there are 20 things but it’s still 10 things I would say to my younger self. So let’s start.

To child me:

  1. I want you to know that  you are not ugly, those little grazes and that little scar on your nose don’t make you ugly, you are beautiful.
  2. You’re not alone. You do have friends, sometimes they seem like they are too busy for you, but their not, they are just waiting for you to talk to them.
  3. You’re not fat. Trust me, those chubby cheeks end up being someone’s favourite part of you, especially when you smile.
  4. You’re not stupid. So what if you don’t understand the first time, your brain is busy doing better things. Try and try again is your best motto.
  5. You’re not crazy. So you like reading, you like writing your own stories. Keep at it, one day you will grow up and you’ll use that in your job.
  6. You are a fighter. Don’t listen to the bullies, you may not fight them back in a physical way, but mentally you could beat them any day.
  7. You are amazing. You never give up, you are determined to reach your goal, never ever lose that part of you.
  8. You are strong. You always stand back on your feet once you’ve been knocked down. I love that about you.
  9. You  are loved. You may not know it or feel it, but so many people cherish you, they think you  are the most amazing little girl around,
  10. I love you. I know I use to tell you that you’re ugly or you’re fat, but I was jealous of you. I’m sorry.

To my teen self:

  1. I don’t hate you. Quite the opposite. I love you. I am sorry for hurting you and leaving those scars as a permanent reminder.
  2. You need to eat. I know I told you that no-one will love you if you’re fat, but I was wrong. Please don’t do this.
  3. Smile more. I know I told you that your smile is stupid but it is one of the prettiest smiles I have ever seen.
  4. It wasn’t your fault. Please stop blaming yourself. No you didn’t ask for it. No you didn’t lead him on. It wasn’t your fault, I promise.
  5. You will find love. Not right away, and yes when you get older you kiss a lot of frogs but my darling, I promise your prince will come.
  6. Your body is great. No you don’t have too many curves. As someone told me “you need to have more faith in yourself” (yes, the person who said that is the same one you are crushing on right now).
  7. You do have friends. Some of them screw you over and you’ll feel like this again, but you have some new people in your life that make it feel full and complete.
  8. You make them proud. I’m talking about your mum and dad. You went to hell and came back the other side, you have a few battle scars but if you could see them now, they are proud of you for coming out the other side.
  9. I am proud of you. You always defy the odds, you have no intention of giving up or stopping, you have your head set on making it out, and you do. You make it out and you are doing alright.
  10. You are amazing. You always continue to surprise me. Thank you for not giving up. Thank you for holding on and pushing yourself further. Thank you for finding your purpose of living.

There we go. 10 things I would say to my younger self. Again, a huge thank you goes to Nimra for this idea.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I know it was a little deep and personal, but I am glad I was able to share this with you.

Stay safe, stay happy and live life as an adventure.

A Toddlebike update

How are you? Today I’m not bringing you a Halloween themed post. Are you happy about that? I have seen so many Halloween themed posts that I am actually dreading it now, I think there are only so many times you can read about the rules of trick or treating. Instead, I thought I would update you on the Toddlebike situation.

For those of you who have no idea what I am on about, I recently reviewed a Toddlebike, you can read that review here. Jo, the owner of the Toddlebike company emailed me yesterday with a discount code for you lovely bunch to use, obviously this is product is aimed at mums to buy for their little ones, but if you want to buy one, go ahead. I will share the code with you later on.

Now, I have had the Toddlebike for a little over a week now and my god is she obsessed with it. We did have an accident, she leant on the handle the wrong way and snapped it back, but luckily with a bit of superglue it was back to new. Honestly, she is terrible at not breaking things, if it’s not my phone being thrown around, I can guarantee she is finding something else to break.

As for using the bike, I can’t take her anywhere without her wanting it. Besides using it inside where her main aim is to run your feet over, or knock your tea over, she is becoming a little pro on it outside. Yes she still aims for your feet but she has picked up some speed on it. Honestly if there were Toddlebikes for adults, we would end up racing each other. She wont even let me carry it anymore, now she has mastered it, it’s all hers.

We had a little fall the other day, someone got a little too big for their boots and tried going over some conkers, she got one wedged in the wheel so it wouldn’t move and she fell off. After a few tears and a kick of the bike, she was back on it and off on her way to play on the swings.

Honestly, I have loved every minute of her using the Toddlebike, it is fun, safe, and devil child friendly. The bike is aimed for children aged around 18 – 36 months old. Now I know how amazing and easy it is to use, I will be buying this if I ever have children of my own. The company itself have been amazing, I can’t recommend them enough. As I said in the beginning I now have a discount code for you to use. Yes, just in time for your Christmas shopping. If you head over to you can pick a red, blue or pink bike, and if you use the code BLOG17 you automatically get 10% deducted. That is such an amazing deal considering the bike only costs £23.95 including postage.

Well that concludes my little update. I will keep you informed of any changes. Let me know if you will purchase one for your little one for Christmas, if you don’t have kids yourself, share this with you mummy friends and get them to purchase one. I promise, it is so worth it.

Thank you for reading, don’t forget to use the discount code, I know we all love saving some money around Christmas time.

Stay safe, stay happy and live life as an adventure.

A Liebster award

How are you? Today I am bringing you the Liebster award. I was nominated by Kelsee from if you haven’t checked out her blog, do so, it’s amazing.

Kelsee has asked some questions for me and her other nominations to answer, so here they are.

1. What did you do on your last vacation?

  • I have never been on vacation so I can’t answer this. Hopefully soon though!

2. What three words describe you best?

  • Sensitive
  • Quiet
  • Determined

3. Besides your phone, what’s one thing you bring with you everywhere you go?

  • A notepad/note book and pen. I find them key essentials.

4. What is a controversial opinion you have?

  • Everyone should be treated the same whether they be, man, woman, gay, bi, straight, trans, whatever.

5. What is/was your lastest Netflix binge?

  • I’ve recently re-watched Riverdale season 1 over again and the two latest episodes of season 2.

6. What’s the most useful app you have on your phone?

  • Probably my WordPress app, because when I get a creative idea, I like to type a title up for it and save it, so I can go back and create the post.

7. Away from your blog, do you journal? If so, how? If not, why don’t you?

  • I use to, way back when I was going through some things, so I stopped after I felt “better”. I then tried to re-start but it would just cause flashbacks of those bad times. I do want to try and start again though, I will make it a new year resolution.

8. What’s the craziest/most outrageous thing you want to achieve?

  • I honestly have no idea. Obviously as many of you know, I want my blog to turn into my job, so to achieve that, that would be crazy. I don’t really have any crazy goals set in place though.

9. If you could make a holiday, what would it be like? How would people celebrate it?

  • I would call it “We survived day” where we celebrate the fact that we are still here, still going strong and to embrace that together, we are united. To celebrate, it would be like a bank holiday where you get the day off work/school, and for that day, you can go shopping and get 50% of your items for free. That’ll be pretty cool.

10. Time freezes for everyone but you for one day – what do you do?

  • In reality, I would probably just sleep.
  • In a non-reality senario, I would play match maker. I would set people up on dates, I would make others forgive and forget, I would clean up the mess that has been made, to try and make this world a better place. Then I would write a letter to my crush, telling him how I feel and place it in his hands so when he unfreezes it’s the first thing he sees.

That guys, is all of Kelsee’s questions. They were great to answer, I loved the fact that they were unique.

If you guys want to take part then by all means do.

  • Acknowledge the blog who nominated you for this award.
  • Answer 11 questions the blogger gave you.
  • Give random facts about yourself.
  • Nominate 11 blogs
  • Give 11 questions for them to answer.

My questions

  1. What is the last thing you said to someone?
  2. One of your biggest goals?
  3. What do you regret?
  4. What don’t you regret?
  5. How are you feeling?
  6. What is your biggest fear?
  7. Fresh fries or onion rings?
  8. Where have you been on holiday?
  9. What was your childhood friend called.
  10. Do you believe in ghosts?
  11. What would you possess if you could?

Thank you for reading and again, thank you Kelsee for nominating me. Don’t forget to check out her amazing blog. See you tomorrow.

Stay safe, stay happy and live life as an adventure.

Apple and ginger crumble (Gluten free)

How are you? If I am correct, most of you are now on half term, yay! You have a full week to enjoy my endless posts 😉. Just kidding, you have time to relax and buy some of my pre-merch (click here).

Today I thought I would bring you a new recipe. I haven’t shared one with you for a little while so why not.

  • 6 Bramley apples, peeled and sliced
  • Preserved stem ginger,3 balls, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • Light brown sugar, soft, a sprinkling
  • 100g of light brown sugar, soft. Or 100g of caster sugar if you prefer.
  • 100g of rice flour
  • 50g of porridge oats, gluten free
  • 50g of almonds, tasted
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 100g of unsalted butter, cold and diced

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/gas mark 4.
  2. Toss together the apple slices, stem ginger, ground ginger and sugar and pop it all in a heatproof dish.
  3. To make the crumble topping, simply chuck all the dry ingredients into a food processor and pulse to chop the nuts and oats up a bit.
  4. If you prefer a more rustic finish, skip this stage
  5. Rub the butter into the dry ingredients until your mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  6. You can add the butter to the processor and pulse to achieve the same results if you’re feeling lazy.
  7. Scatter the crumble topping over the fruit and bake for 35 – 40 minutes.

Hey presto. You have an apple and ginger apple crumble. You can serve this with custard or ice-cream, it’s completely down to you. Either way, dig in while it’s warm.

Don’t forget to share snaps of your creations over on instagram with #galaxygirlbakes. I hope to see you tucking into one of these soon.

Thank you for reading, come back later for a These are a few of my favourite things post.

Stay safe, stay happy and live life as an adventure.

My favourite Halloween movies

We’re getting there! I can almost start uploading my Christmas themed posts. For now though, I am spending my time buzzing for my Halloween party. Decorations are being brought, food is in the freezer, drinks well, I’m saving that for last otherwise they’ll be gone. Would you like a post on my party or would you rather I do something else?

Anyway, today I am sharing my favourite Halloween movies. Hopefully you’ll see some of yours, if not, comment them below so others can check them out.

Hocus Pocus

Of course this is my number one film, I don’t think anything will ever beat this. Here is a little background of the film just incase you’ve never heard of it.

1693 Thackery Binx is transformed into an immortal cat by three witches on Halloween night after they try to take away Thackery’s sisters youth. The witch leave a spell before being killed, they promise to come back when a virgin lights up the haunted candle on Halloween night. 300 years later, a teenage boy, Max, his friend Allison and his little sister Dani light it up bringing the witches back. Max, Allison and Dani have to get rid of the witches before they steal the youth of every kid in town.

Who doesn’t love Casper? He is the friendliest ghost after all. It’s such a light hearted film and a must watch in my opinion.

Casper is a friendly ghost who falls in love with a teenage girl, Kat, who starts living in the haunted house with her father. Thier relationship isn’t easy seeing as Casper’s uncles (also ghosts) tries to scare them away. Kat doesn’t have many friends because of her travelling with her dad, but she becomes popular in Maine because of the house. Kat notices that Casper doesn’t remember his life and death so she helps him bring his memories back.

Hotel Transylvania

Honestly this is such a good family film to watch. My family love it, even my dad sits with us and watches it. It’s just a fun film and the best part is, there is a Transylvania two!

Dracula runs a hotel away from the humans for all of his “monster” friends. He turns super over protective when a mortal boy discovers the hotel and falls in love with his teenage daughter. The story follows his love for his daughter.

Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children

I bloody love this! I have seen it twice now and the whole story is amazing. I believe it was a book first so I am 100% adding that to my Christmas wishlist!

For years Abraham Portman has told his grandson Jacob about his amazing childhood as a Jew in World War two, battling monsters trying to eat him, and living at a secret home for children in Wales. According to Abe, the homes children and their headmistress Miss Alma Peregrine posses paranormal abilitues and are known as “Peculiars”. Following advice from his psychiatrist and by a secret letter from Miss Peregrine to Abe, Jacob travels to Cairnholm with his father Frank to investigate thr children’s home, where upon he learns that it was destroyed during a Luftwaffe raid. However, he visits the ruined house and finds that the children are there alive and well. They take him through a portal in a cave and he emerges in the year 1943 when the house was still intact and Miss Peregrine greets him and shows him around.

Other things happen, which puts the children, Jacob and Miss Peregrine in danger but you’ll have to watch to find out.

The Addams Family

Ah what a classic! I am often told I am a copy of Wednesday Addams, which to me is a compliment. I don’t think you can call it Halloween until you’ve seen this film.

The Addams are a gothic family and they are about to lose their money because of their liar lawyer. They come up with the idea of making Gordon pretend that he is uncle a Fester to get their money back, but things get harder and harder for the peculiar family.

Suicide squad

Okay so it’s not a Halloween film, but it sure is a kick ass one! Sit back with your popcorn and enjoy your “villans” become kick ass “heros”.

A secret goverment agency recruits some of the most dangerous super villains to form a defesnive task force. Their first mission is: to save the world from the apocalypse. Do they complete their task?

Corpse Bride

I love this film. It’s so good and it melts my heart. The only reason its Halloweeny is because their corpses. If they weren’t it would still be a beautiful story.

Tim Burton movies for the win! The main character Victor is about to get married to Victoria a beautiful woman, but while practicing his vows, Victor gets really nervous and catches on fire Victoria’s mums dress. He isn’t allowed to marry her until he learns his vows. Finally, he recites his vows correctly, and places his ring of the eternal covenant on a root of the ground resembling a few fingers. Suddenly the “root”, which is actually a human hand, grabs him firmly on the arm and the floor emerges the corpse of a beautiful woman wrapped in a wedding dress. The corpse bride declares that the boy is her husband and this, after receiving the traditional kiss, faints. Victor awakens in a town full of dead, among them the corpse bride, with whom he had accidentally married. Confused and frightened, he demands to be told where he is. The corpses explain that he is in the land of the Dead and tell a story of love and disappointment which explains the reasons for this “strange” marriage.

And that is it. My favourite Halloween films. What ones have you watched? Which one is your favourite?

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post. I will see you again tomorrow with a new fun post.

Stay safe, stay happy and live life as an adventure.

Review: A toddlebike

How are you? I know, another double upload! Three days in a row, I am on the ball aren’t I! Well this review is a total suprise because I wasn’t expecting to be writing it yet, but here we are.

First of all I want to explain how I came into the possession of a toddlebike because obviously thats not something I would usually buy for myself. The owner of Toddlebikes sent out a PR tweet asking for reviewers, you had to have certain things to meet her critera, I did, so I left my infomation below and I recieved an email soon after.

After a rocky start (not the companies fault at all!) Today my toddlebike arrived. Unfortunately I am having some issues with Hermes at the moment because all parcels I receive from them arrive in a state, again this is in no way the companies fault, they can not control how the courier handles them.

This is how my box arrived this morning, so I was expecting it to either not even be in the box or to be broken. Thankfully it was in the box and it was in great condition.

The toddlebike is very light! I believe its 0.8kg. When I got it out the box, I thought that it was tiny, obviously campared to me it was even smaller, but it’s actually the perfect size.

I brought my cousin over because she is nearly two so meets the critera of getting the bike. At first she was a little confused, she wasn’t quite sure what it was. She pushed it as if it was a pram but soon realised she could sit on it. Which she did. She sat on it and just stayed still. After gentely nudging her, she began to move and she actually enjoyed it.

We first tried it out in my living room because I thought it was the safest option. She seemed to realise that bikes belong outside, so of we went on a little adventure. We took the bike to the park. Many times she would attempt to “ride” it, others consisted of me carrying it for her. For her first time she nailed it though!

The bike only costs £23.95 which includes delivery which is such an amazing price. So before I share pictures of her trying the bike out here is where you can find your very own toddlebike.

A racing red bike

A midnight blue bike

A pinky pink bike

You can also have a look on

Okay so here are some pictures.

A little bit about Toddlebike2:

Toddlebike2 – a unique “Pre-Balance” bike suitable for Toddlers as soon as they can confidently walk (usually around 18 months). Widely accepted by cyclists and the cycling media as being THE BEST first step towards independent riding. Indoor AND outdoor use so LOADS of practice time without pressure or frustration at the pace of each individual child. Super lightweight – just 0.8kg – 3 times lighter than most balance bikes, scooters or ride-ons. It is also rust proof so you can take it into the water with you!

A toddlebike2 is a perfect first bike, it helps them to balance and it’s fun for them. Yes there is a seat, but don’r force them to use it, let them explore and use the bike in their own way, they’ll soon be a pro at it and will be showing of in no time!

All in all I am happy with the product and so is she! I am sure I will be taking her out on it again tomorrow.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this review. I will see you again tomorrow.

Stay safe, stay happy and live life as an adventure.
